Years ago, some Nissanbayan members got into a tiff some Castrol reps because they complained of sludge issues with their products. Mind you, these were real-deal car guys who personally work on their cars and know their engines inside-out.

Nabasa ko nga yung sludge issue ng nissanbayan when they used castrol. But it was said that castrol reformulated their oils na daw. But i still try to keep away from castrol.

March 27th, 2014 11:25 PM #19ok yang test na yan paps...pero sa oil testing depende yan sa karga ng sasakyan... kagaya sa mga truckers ang pagtest ng oil comparison with each brand is dapat pareho ang load ng dalawang trucks para accurate ang testing..kasi kapag ang isang truck ay magaan ang load at yung isa ay mabigat hindi patas ang pag compare ng oil test... additional information is ang pag test ng oil kung maganda at least ang makina ay brand new or maganda pa makina.. hindi accurate pag blow by na makina... dito kasi sa atin ang kilala lang na langis big three and other imported brands like mobil, valvoline ... may mga iba din na engine oils dyan na maganda din but underrated.... another information din na hindi natin pwedeng sisihin ang langis na bagong lagay sa makina biglang kumatok ang makina... may mga past problems na ang makina kaya biglang kumatok...
