    Reviving this thread.

    Anyone got an idea of the currently available armored vehicles on the market today?

    What are the local armoring firms?

    Chery is now in the business of armoring Tiggo SUV's right off the factory. Do you think this is a good buy for individuals who just want a bit more protection against random street crimes and smash and grab M-O's?

    Saw an armored 1996 MB S500 over at DB88.com last month selling for about 700k.

    I think it's one of those former Embassy cars. The doors look heavy.
