jeeps in the provinces seem to be more modern in design. Sa Cebu marami din akong nakikitang Elf truck converted to jeeps. Di ko na napansin kung san ung biyahe, siguro medyo paakyat. If not parang sayang ung lakas ng Elf since it's carrying relatively lighter load.

Anyone know if there's a company making G-Wagon replicas? Fabrication should be pretty straightforward as most panels are, well...straight. Should be possible as well to just get a donor vehicle - an FX, or a Revo for an A/T option as dimensions are pretty close. Maintenance should be light and reliability high going this route.

The design is unassuming and in fact utilitarian. A well-executed one can get the nod in the city as well.
