Both models will wear a new turbocharged 1,6 litre petrol engine, the first example from the cooperation between PSA Peugeot Citroën and the BMW Group.

This turbocharged engine, which features a range of highly innovative technical advances, will develop a power output of 143 hp in the GTi and 170 hp in the RC.
