hello po sana may makareply gumagamit ako ng 1975 na ford escort mkII mejo 2 months na atang hindi nagamit so pinalitan ung spark plugs nilinis contact points palit gas inis carburador tapos okei na ulit condition nakakahataw pa ako ng sobrang bilis
Pero ang tanging weird na nangyari eh parang ambigat ng feeling nya pag umaabante lalo na pag hanging pag di mu inangat masyado rpm parang hindi kaya ng makina im pretty sure na hindi sa walang tono sa makina kasi daling dali pa siya humataw. di ko lam kung nasanay lang ako sa sentra. anu po sa tingin nyo mga sirs? tulong naman di ko lam kung ako lang me problema o yung kotse mismo me problema

older engines have less power for the same displacement.
Example: 80s 2.0L engine would have 110hp. That is compared to 90s 2.0L which are mostly rated at 140hp.
That would result in needing to rev the engine harder to get the same "feeling" of power from the old school car.

ahh pero kasi sentra ko is a 1.4l sentra na b14 at hindi naman ako naiilang masyado pero sa hatawan wala talaga kwenta (around 88hp i think?) unlike ung ford escort ko eh 130hp na 1.6l so sa tingin ko hindi ata ganun eh? pati mas madali ako makaovertake gamit yung kotse na yun. pero sa tingin niyo posble na dahil ung low end torque at horsepower eh mababa compared sa sentra? anu po sa tingin niyo? me mga ipapayo ba kayo na pwede ko gawin?

It also could be the HP and Torque curve of the engine in your escort is very peaky. So at low to mid level RPMs, there isn't much power. You'll need to rev it up to mid to high RPMs to get it really going. Similar to Honda SiR engines where most of the power is to be found between 6000 to 8000 rpm.
to be 100% certain, a baseline dyno run would be needed.

naku mahal bayad sa dyno diba? thanks po sa replies baka nga po ganun escort ko kasi pag pumalo around 2000rpm parang bgla siyang bumibilis ng sobra siguro andun yung power? haha thanks po
