June 9th, 2008 01:41 PM #1patulong naman po dyan oh ksi yung sentra '96 nmin ayaw gumana yung 2 rear speaker, nung tinignan ko putol na pala yung isang wire....ung wire na parang tela....did you get it?.......yun, naputol yun tig isa silang naputol ang cause nun siguro eh kapag malakas ung pagpapatugtug specially kapag malakas yung bass....eh madalas pa nmn akong magpatugtog ng malakas eh....anong bang solusyon dun niremedyohan ko na nga pero nasira uli eh...help naman dyan oh...pwede bang i solder yun?

June 10th, 2008 02:26 AM #3braided wire yan na para talaga sa speakers. dalhin mo sa nagre-repair ng mga speakers at kaya nila iyang palitan. iba-iba ang mga gauge depende sa power ratings. Sa Raon madami pa cguro ang nag-rerepair ng speakers. puwede ding i-solder kunng sa terminal siya naputol, o kay idugtong pero dapat konti lang solder para di maapektuhan ang flexibility niya.

June 10th, 2008 09:11 PM #4technical term for that wire is "pig tail" braided wire with thread inside specifically designed for speakers since they move in cycles.. normally they wore out due to wear and tear, and when the car is parked under the sun causing the wires to become brittle.. you cannot use ordinary wires, it will impede the movement of the speaker cone and will cause rattling noise

^^ +1 theres no use of soldering the wire kasi iba talaga stranded wires to ordinary once.
palitan niyo na lang sir yung wires... mura lang naman yan.
by putol, do you mean that naputol sa hatak o putol sa init? if sa hatak, no prob na gamitin same gauge ng wires pero kung sa init... get a thicker wire.
