meron ka ba nakikitang button sa shifter that says O/D? press mo yon and see what happens. wala pa kse ako narinig na nasirang transmission ng honda that age (98, right?) unless hinahataw mo yan lagi tapos hindi pa pinapalitan ang transmission fluid. but still, it's a honda. alam nating magaling pagkakayari

civics dont have OD buttons.. ang meron is D4, D3 at 2 not sure kung may 1 ka.. pero sa accord meron....... D4 is the overdrive.. you should have 4 gears at this stage....

best way to check if there's something wrong with your A/T is to check your fluid...
pull out the A/T fluid level checker... smell it... if it has a Burnt Smell then for sure... there is something wrong with your A/T... it should have a sweet smell...
a lot of dealers don't know how to fix A/T problems... they usually send it to this guy I know... he has a shop in lower bicutan underneath the Skyway (if your coming from Bicutan going towards Magallanes on the service road... it's right after Tesda... on your right... if your coming from the other side, it's before the TESDA building... on the left side, there's an opening... )... If my memory serves me right... his name is Eric Lucas... he was an A/T mechanic in Canada and came back to Manila to start so far the only specialty A/T shop. I can't seem to recall the shop name. I posted it before here... maybe one of the Mods can search for it...Last edited by need4speed; February 28th, 2004 at 02:19 PM.

is your problem that you RPM is going up but you don't feel any push from the engine? (just like an M/T having a slipping clutch)...
can't really get much from your description...
