kahapon pa ako nagse-search eh, hindi ko pa ri makita.
kasi nabasa ko na yung 'diy' na yun dati pa.
anyway, maitanong ko na lang ha.
how to check kung aling accesory ang may shorted/grounded na
wires? yung nabasa ko nun is tatangalin (ata) isa-isa yung mga fuse
or something na parang ganun eh. hindi ko na maalala. kaya hindi
ko rin siguro ma-search ng tama.
kapag umapak ako sa preno, bumababa ang rpm (nagdi-dim din ang
gauge lights). at kapag naka a/c pa ako (at naka ilaw pag gabi)
nagbi-blink ang headlights.
tulong naman po diyan mga masters . . .

try mo search sa internet "ampere draw test"
or follow these:
tester required:
DVMM (preffered) or 12V test light
disconnect neg bat terminal, wait for at least 20min (kung meron mga control modules ang car mo to put them on sleep mode). using the DVMM on ammeter mode (set mo nuna sa higher amp setting para hindi mo masira DVMM mo in case sobrang laki ng amp draw) connect mo yung isang lead sa battery terminal yung isa naman ay sa neg cable. continue trying hanggang sa milliamp range hangang makakuha ka ng reading (acceptable for some models is 5mA) kung mahigit 5mA (abnormal draw) then remove mo yung fuse one by one hanngang makita mo yung nag cause ng draw, repair the circuit that caused the draw. CAUTION: while in mA setting never kang mag "on" ng kahit anong system sa car or you'll say bye-bye sa DVMM mo.
or test light method, just same setting pag bright ang ilaw may malaking draw tanngal isa isa fuse hanggang mamatay ilaw test light.

August 20th, 2007 11:23 AM #5set mo sa 10 amps ang amp meter mo kung meron pero sa picture parang wala.connect the positive probe of the amp meter to negative battery cable at negative probe to negative battery terminal.pero palagay ko di mo kailangan gawin kasi obvious naman na shorted sya.check mo daw muna yung brake lights baka pundido na.

wala naman pundido na lights.
i went to Wizzards kanina. wala naman daw grounded.
ang tinurong culprit is yung idle-up (IACV, since it's a civic)
haay... problema pa rin.

with the key on engine off;
