scratched mags

mga sirs, question lang.. kumiskis sa gutter yung mags sa likuran ng city namin, medyo nagasgas ng kaunti at dumikit yung paint (red pa naman).. any tips on how to safely remove the paint and the scratches? baka may older post na about this, paki-point na lang po ako para di maulit yung thread.. thanks! J

Try mo kerosene or rubbing compound, gamitan mo ng pranela or soft na basahang malinis para hindi lumala yung gasgas.

thanks, sir! wala namang effect 'to sa finishing ng mags? sabagay wala namang paint yun na masisira.. any rubbing compound that you can suggest? although kerosene seems a safe bet kahit pano.. thanks po ulit!

Any rubbing compound should do, although kerosene from the nearest gas station would be the cheapest. Just don't forget to wash the mags with soap and water after applying kerosene.
