reservoir problem

I am having problem with my Toyota liteace 92 model,balak ko sna pa upgrade in to 3 rows radiator ko because of over heating. pero napansin ko lang na hindi bumabalik ung tubig from reservoir to radiator after gamitin. Usually dpat pag iniwan mo ng overnyt mababawasan ang reservoir dba? pero chk ko ung reservoir halos umapaw den chk ko ung sa radiator almost haf liter ang nilagay ko.So nag dadalwang isip ako papalitan radiator ko into 3 rows kc bka ganun pa rin problem. Anybody pls help

Try mo muna pa-check yung thermostat baka stuck up na siya. Patanggal mo muna then tingnan mo kung maaayos problema. Kung maayos, decide ka na lang kung bibili ka ng bagong thermostat or iwan mo na lang na walang thermostat. Sa mga kotse kasi namin ganyan ang nangyayari pag nasira ang thermostat. Punung-puno lagi yung reservoir pero yung radiator nauubusan ng tubig kaya nago-overheat. HTH.

May thread yata tungkol dito. I-check mo thermostat at i-flush mo radiator. I-trouble shoot mo water pump

sir jet, mukhang di kasya ung 3 rows sa liteace.... ko nagpa general overhaul ng radiator (both top and bottom is removed) kasi usually pag overhaul lang, ung top lang inaalis...i'm still waiting cash to buy the near-worn fanbelts and valve cover seal..then test drive again...

the bigger secondary radiator is chuck full of mud of rust, pero virgin pa...before ko pinagawa..and the water is like your coffee w/ creamer!

the smaller main radiator has been overhauled before...

now they're both sparkling clean in and out...

meron daw tlga nag aupgrade ng radiator from 2 rows to 3 rows... pasadya yta un kya lang d ko pa nadadaan sa shop nila kc medyo bc may pasok din kc ako pag saturday.
meron kc ako nabasa sa ibang forum n upgrade nila ung radiator to 3 rows lite ace din. they mofied the radiator by putting a cap to radiator and hose to reservoir.
dba ung liteace cap is on the top of the water pump itself so I think tama cla..when the engine is heat the water comes out from radiator to reservoir and hindi k basta makakapaglagay ng water to radiator when the engine is on because of the cap is on the top of the water pump bka bumulwak ung tubig syo...heheheh.

eto kakatapos lang..right ung cap nasa may isang hose directly sa radiator.... for my initial test: around the area.. (home-congre-mindanao-home) di naman overheat, next sa greenhills via edsa then going home via gilmore/quezon ave...

i take caution pag bubuksan ko ng mainit (i use ung pang-ikot ng jack-->mahaba un, then partly open the seat up)..

may sensor ung reservoir, so i let it empty, then kung nawala ung ilaw sa dash it means na sumuka ulit....now prob na ulit un...hope ok na ito....para aircon nalang

just an update of my liteace regarding dun sa hindi bumabalik ung coolant from reservoir to radiator.
Last saturday pumuta kami ng siniloan with aircon on....ok nman lamig nya before me umalis from pasay chk ko ung reservor almost full na, den with almost 2 and half hrs of driving nakarating kami sa siniloan nasa half ung temperature,chk ko ung reservoir puno n sya,den hinayan ko muna nung paalis n kmi 5pm n yta un 6 hrs syang napahinga pag chk ko nung reservoir half na lang sya, den nung chk ko ung radiator para lagyan ng distilled water puno sya meaning bumalik ung water nya from reservoir to radiator pero ung park ko sa sasakyan is pababa ung daan meaning hindi sya nakatingala or pantay n daan.
Meaning ba nun n kailnganko i relocate ung reservoir n medyo mataas ng konti?wat u think?

I think kahit na pantay ang pagpark or kahit saan position ng reservoir mo kailangan bumalik ang tubig sa radiator kasi pagmainit ang radiator habang tumatakbo makina at nag expand ang tubig dito pupunta ang excess water at pagpatay ng makina at lumamig na ito magcocontract ang tubig at magkakaroon ng vacuum at hihigopin nito pabalik sa radiator ang tubig. kaya kung meron leak sa water system mo kahit pin hole lang hindi na bumabalik ang tubig sa radiatorang nahihigop na pabalik ay hangin na.

ganun pa din akin suka pag 60 kph above...top OH na ako....kasi di na kaya ng radiator flush tunawin ung namuong kalawang sa loob ng makina.. grrrrrr...

buti nakabalik pa ako,kami from baguio!pa- port-and-polish ko na din kaya....
