August 5th, 2005 09:03 AM #1guys, anyone had their headlights cleaned by shell gas station located near winterpine araneta ave? minsan kasi ako nadaan dun and i saw that they're cleaning headlights and charging it P300 only not unlike with other places in which they charge P1,200. i asked around how they're doing it, they said that they're heating the headlight assembly in order to open the whole assembly para din daw malinis maigi yung loob lalo na yung reflector. is this procedure safe? what's my assurance that my water won't sip in my assembly?

August 5th, 2005 09:25 AM #2kayang DIY yan. basta hindi dapat punasan ng basahan ang reflector kasi magagasgas ito. best DIY procedure is to use luke warm water with joy solution. pour it in the housing and shake it. drain water and let the housing dry under the heat of the sun.
