PS fluid

What can I use as power steering fluid? I'd like to have the system flushed sana as well as all my other oils. San ba marunong or magaling gumawa nito?

Any powersteering fluid that meets DEXRON type II specifications will do.

yun bang ATF sa shell , yun nakalagay sa yellow container ay pwede??

o kaya yun STP power steering fluid? pwede na ba yun?

May I remind you that when the PS pump gets dry this will cause its breakdown. You might want to exclude the PS fluid when flushing. As I know of, any ordinary ATF oils can be added to your PS reservoir. :D

May I remind you that when the PS pump gets dry this will cause its breakdown. You might want to exclude the PS fluid when flushing. As I know of, any ordinary ATF oils can be added to your PS reservoir. :D

mr ungas is correct. exclude mo na lang flushing dahil it will create more damage sa power steering mo. anyway, power steering fluids don't need to be flushed or cleaned dahil malinis naman yung system nyan.

any ordinary ATF oils can be used as PS fluids. this is useful kung AT yung car mo so that isang bilihan na lang. kung car mo is manual, i would suggest using a separate PS fluid.

Specific approvals are Mercedes-Benz Sheets 236.1, 236.5, 236.6 and 236.7, Voith G.607, ZF TE-ML 3D, 4D, 14A and Allison C-4.

boss chieffy, pwede ba yan na transmission/gear oil sa akin? manual kasi kotse ko and balak ko din sya ipaflush. car is 99 lancer glxi.

saw a bottle of shell power steering fluid, yung nasa yellow container nga sa ace hardware. Can't remember na how much. I'll get that na lang unless meron akong makuha sa caltex na pwede din na gear oil.
