Hirschmann (OEM Mercedes) costs about Php 1,500.00 for the whole assembly.
Taiwan brands can go as low as Php 600.00 during carshows (whole assembly also).
OEM Honda will probably be more expensive than either one.
Sometimes it's just the mast or plastic cable that is broken. This can be repaired by your not-so-friendly Banawe freelancer for around Php 500.00/ea.

Agree, the mast cable usually breaks. Do you still hear the motor running? If so, then just replace the mast.

yup, usually it's the plastic rack gear that is cut. that's the long plastic cable with gear teeth. if you're on a budget just go to banawe and ask the "mechanics" there to fix it for you. last time i had mine fixed it cost me P400, but the antenna does not extend fully now as some length of the plastic rack was lost.
