Hi, I'm about to "restore" an old L300 van that's been gathering rust and dust for the last 5 years. Last time it was registered was 2002. The tires are shot, the upholstery is torn, the electronics are non too good, and the lights are smashed. The engine is still good though, had it to start 2 weeks ago. The body is still good, save for the expected scratches and dings from a vehicle not used for 5 years.

My questions are:

How much bringing it back to life will cost? Estimate?

What about LTO fees and fines?

Anyone know a good home service mechanic who's trustworthy?
