June 14th, 2003 09:27 PM #1Help! mga sir paano ba to... yung aux fan ko kasi umaandar kahit na malamig yung engine... so naisipan ko mag DIY.... Pinalitan ko ang Sensor.... Ang problema nahigpitan ko ng masyado... and it so happen na bumigay yung kinakabitan niya.... connected pa naman ito sa radiator... What I did is ikinabit ko uli yung naputol na maliit na parang tubo tsaka niligyan ko ng steel epoxy... Ang epoxy ay may heat tolerance hanggang 250 deg. Celsius lang.... its been 5 hours now since i applied the epoxy on the broken part....
What do you think uubra kaya to... by the way ang ride ko ay Toyota Corolla 95 na may 2e engine.....

it should work. just make sure its not directly beside the exhaust manifolds.
just to make it last longer, you might try covering the epoxy area with a small piece of thermal wrap.

June 21st, 2003 06:54 PM #3I did the same thing to my previous car nung kakabili pa lang namin sa kanya, 2E rin engine. Pinalitan ko yung kinakabitan nya. Kinabahan ako nung una, akala ko part siya ng engine block, but hindi pala. :mrgreen: Maghanap ka lang ng surplus dyan sa Banawe. P200 lang nagastos ko.

Buti na lang hindi:lol: Sa ngayon I just have it welded through aluminum welding.... di na siya nag leak pero pag kinapa mo medyo nagmo moist siya..... at every morning tinitingnak ko ang water level ok naman.....
Ang problema kung sino ang mapag utusan kong magpnta diyan sa banawe kasi nasa Mindanao ako....
