February 26th, 2008 03:32 PM #1Help pls.. I just want to know the estimated price for a Ford Lynx (gen1) Idle Air control Valve (IACV). My mechanic told me it already needs to be replaced after all the cleaning of the throttle body failed to stabilize the idling whenever the A/C is switched on. And also it does not run smooth..thanks a lot in advance..

IACVs are pretty expensive. Try calling Fordland (732-1206) to get a quote.

To give you an idea an ICV for a M111 engine of a Mercedes-Benz would cost around 24thou.
