Hope someone can help. My old car makes a grinding noise in front when I make a turn. Sa may front wheel. Parang may nagdidikit na metal on metal yung sound. Ano kaya cause nun?

Depends on the car and the shop. The price for CV Joints for 90's japanese cars plays around 1,500 and up (depending on the car). Dunno about the labor.

Hmmmm...kung tok-tok-tok sound while turning, CV joint nga, pero metallic grinding sound daw eh. Tapos baka luma na nga masyado yung car, wala pang CV joint.

it is also possible that the grinding sound is also cause by worn wheel bearing...
or as they say worn CV joint...

September 3rd, 2006 12:59 AM #10I had it fixed today. turns out the brake pads were worn out. kaya parang metal to metal ang sound. it's an old car as i mentioned. 82 lancer box type. I really don't know much about fixing cars. i'm glad i found out about this site. thanks a lot for your help. sana di kayo magsawa tumulong sa ibang newbies like me.
