July 8th, 2007 06:12 AM #1Yung oto ko nagsisignal na may bukas na door kahit sarado na lahat.It started nung nagpainstall ako ng car alarm pinakialaman yung passenger door tapos after nun ganito na nangyari.
Initially, tolerable pa pero ngayon kahit higpitan ko pagkakasarado ng passenger door nagsisignal pa rin na may bukas kahit na mag brake lang ako ng konti or kahiy konting bump sa road.Matindi pa nyan naging sensitive masyado yung alarm konting vibration lang tumutunog na kapag nakapark.Tulad kahapon sa open area umulan lang ng malakas di na tumigil sa pag alarm.
Ano kaya gagawin dito, electrical ba ito or mechanical problem and saan shop ba ok patingnan ito yung maayos trumabaho? sa QC area Kamias,Sikatuna area ko.

sa switch lang yan sir, o baka may wire na nakatap sa door switch na hindi natape ng maayos, dumidikit sa body, kasi yung switch ng door open is negative (ground)

Guys ganito rin problema ng nabaha kong oto. After mapa-detail yung door panel, nasi-sense nya na open yung door kahit sarado naman lahat.
May alam ba kayo na shop kung saan pwede ipagawa to? Thanks

It's not the door switch. It's a problem with the way the alarm was wired (or the alarm itself) as well as the shock sensor's sensitivity. It seems that the shock sensor on your alarm is connected in such a way that a sufficiently strong shock would trigger the door-open channel, instead of a separate triggering channel, to set off the alarm.
Most car alarms have multiple sensor channels. Each channel is usually independent of each other. For instance:
1. Cabin door open
2. Trunk open
3. Hood open
4. Shock detection (usually, dual-zone)
5. Glass break detection (such as with a microphone)
6. Ultrasonic and/or microwave radar sensors available on more exotic alarms
It just appears that either the electrician or the alarm manufacturer used just one channel to sense the doors and shock.
