cleaning throttle body

Guys, paano ba nililinis yung throttle body ng EFI (yung sa may MAP sensor) , yung kung saan nakatatak yung EFI sa Honda ESI 94. Binuksan ko kasi yung sa akin nasalat ko sa ilalim ng butterfly medjo me build up ng langis. normal ba to ? accumulated through the years kaya ? pede kaya i DIY.

make sure pag nilinis mo yan spray mo yong cleaner o chemical sa basahan kung hindi taas baba ang idle mo kasi kong may natira na sludge sa mga butas ma iistock doon.

I bought a Whiz Carb Cleaner sa Ace Hardware. I remove the plastic tube that connects the throttle body to the air filter. And with the engine running, I sprayed the cleaner inside the throttle body. You have to push the plates inside the throttle body in order to clean the inside. You can do this for several minutes until wala ka nang makita na deposits sa loob ng throttle body.

spraying degreaser on the outside simply [ushes the dirt further inside which may clog the engine. best solution is to take out the whole intake manifold and have it cleaned nalang while out of the car.

Guys, could this be the problem why my idle is not adjusting right, pag tumakbo yung aircon at rad fan ko ?

Pansin ko kasi, bumababa idle ko pag nag on ang aircon compressor ko, tapos bumabalik sa dati pag nag off, diba dapat self adjust sya ? anong sensor ba involve para makabawi yung idle ko pag nag on ang aircon ?

kung bumababa ang idle mo +- 100 rpm at hindi naman eratic gaano it should be alright normal na mag move ang idle mo a little bit kasi may load siya kagaya ng pag on ang AC mo i cocompensate siya ng tinatawag na Idlel Control Valve.kaya pag namatay yong fan mo bumabalik sa tamang idle which is normaly 700,750 both+-.

used to have this same problem with my mitsu, I had my TB cleaned and also my servo and everything returned to normal.

I don't know what's the equivalent of the servo for honda engines, it could be the Idle Control Valve or Idle Switch Control Valve. So probably if you have your TB cleaned and also your idle switch whatchamacallit, hopefully it will solve your problem too.
