Chassis Number Problem

Madami po ba naging requirements na kailangan kakarenew lang po kasi ng rehistro ng car last august 2024. Nung binili namin dun sa seller di namin napansin yung chasis number. Wala din po kasi kami balak ipalipat sa name namin yung CR.

it seems to be an honest mistake.
even the stencil boys and acid etchers, whose job it is to spot these, appear to have missed it.
with luck, LTO will make the corrections without much ado.

but why do you not wish to transfer ownership to your name via CR ?

Thanks Guys for all the answers.... I already checked it with the seller. It seems clerical error nga lang... na paayos ko na sya... sa records ng LTO. Thanks ulit...

yung issue din sakin kulang ng first letter yung chasis #. Ano kaya process nito mga sir and ano po requirements. salamat po sa makakasagot

bring the car to the lto and have them get a look-see. bring your papeles also.
if the typo is reasonable naman, they can make it happen.

these errors happen more often than we think.
the act of inspecting the serial numbers is usually a difficult body position... errors are likely to happen... ... exchanging similar-looking characters... miss stenciling the first character or the last character... even wrong typing sa makinilya!
yes, there is the omnipresent admonition, "paki-check nyo po.." , but in the heat of the excitement of owning the car... we forget our senses.
