fire extinguisher, first aid kit, bottle of water - although technically not part of the tool box but nevertheless essential items.

Come to think of it, I don't have the first two in my cars.

Box/open end wrenches, pliers, long nose, socket/ratchet-click type wrenches, cutter, electric and duct tape, head-lamp, etc.

Yung EWD ko is already installed on the trunk lid, so I just open it in case I stall...

Spare parts include spare fuel filters, vacuum lines, zip ties, and left over oil in case maubusan.

I also carry a bottle or two of fresh vegetable oil - in case I run out of fuel

I think we really need a fire extinguisher. We might not be able to use it but it would be really nice to have it for safety or to help other motorists. Saan kaya nakakabili ng maliit na fire extinguisher na pwede ilagay sa trunk? Thanks.

    Peeps,

A fire extinguisher is very important to your ride. In traffic maski katabi na car mo nasusunog pwedeng madamay ka.

Sa content ng toolbox ko. size 8,10,12.14,17,19,22 na combination (open/close), Vise grip, long nose, electrical tape, screwdrivers, rachet and socket. Test light and trouble light. left over wires and cutter. And special service tools specific to the vehicle.

You shoud always have all the fuse (all amperes), relays, bulbs and fan belts (especially for the alternator) specific to your vehicle. Jumper cable and tow rope are also essential.

Pag long trips, i make it a point to bring extra radiator hose(upper/lower) and clamps. Bring also one foot of universal water hose for turbo and bypasses which you can cut according to lenght.

I have that FE in my sammy. Don't put it in the trunk. Install it where you can access it without getting out of the vehicle. Refillable po yun sa handyman may mounting bracket and meter pa siya.
