Bubbles in the receiver dryer

I notice some bubbles in my starex receiver dryer when the engine and aircon has just been recently shut off, but after a while it dissapears but no bubbles during air con operation, Is this any indication of damage parts?

ganyan din kotse ko, sabi nung aircon specialist sakin normal lang may bubbles kasi di totally puno ng freon yung drier, sadya yun para may onti space para daw di hirap compressor

bubbles in the refirgerant sight glass is normal only...
1. when the ac compressor had just been turned on (ac clutch is engaged) as the refrigerant has not yet been fully liquified in the high side (or condenser side) of the refrigerant system. when the pressure in the high side has reached its design pressure then there should be no more bubbles seen in the sight glass.
2. when the ac compressor had just been turned off (ac clutch is off) because the remaining liquid refrigerant vaporizes as the pressure between the high side (condenser) and low side (evaporator) equalizes.

when the ac compressor* has been running for a while there should be no more bubbles in the sight glass. bubbles in the sight glass is a sign of undercharge.

*compressor ha, hindi yung ac lang kasi pwede naka-on ang ac pero off ang clutch ng compressor.

Pag tuloy tuloy pa din yung bubbles pag matagal na naka engage and aircon compressor, meaning to say kulang na din sa freon.

That's completely normal sir since the pressure on the high pressure side equalizes with the low pressure side after the compressor stops running.

there should be a very little-miniscule amount of bubbles you can see even if the ac is on.. wheen you see its totally clear, its might be an indication of too much freon in the system.

but when the bubles dont stop, means lesser freon on the system, might be a leak somewher--hanapin mo yung malangis..

when the glass is so dirty, time to clean and replace the reciever/drier and the expansion valves.. and have your condensers, evaporators, solenoid valves, lines and commpressor undergo general flushing...

true only for R12 system not with the R134A system, yan ang reason why most R134A receiver/drier ay walang sight glass

My R134A drier has a sight glass.... minsan may bubbles, minsan wala...

...pero di talaga dapat basis yung bubbles lang 'coz pwedeng overcharged na yung refrigerant, pero may bubbles pa rin... The pressure has to be checked on both high and low pressure sides talaga. Pwede kasing loose compression na yung compressor, or pwedeng yung expansion valve ay kailangan nang palitan...

normal lang ang bubbles. pressure naman ang tinitingnan sa linya ng A/C, hindi ang bubbles
