Hello sirs! So i just changed my tires to used tires. Note that this tires are mine and bought it new pero ginamit ko lang cguro mga 6 mos. Naka tambak lang sa garage. Then when my stock tires worn out, ginamit ko ulit pero yun nga mga sirs, may tunog na parang helicopter pag nasa 60kph or mga 80-90kph. Haha! Nung naka stock tires ako mejo may tunog rin pero sakin okay lang kac bearable naman. Pero yung nakakabit ngaun, nakakairita talaga. So i have done a lot of googling, watching different videos on youtube and I still donÂ’t think what could be the cause of the noise. I suspect four issues though. Whether itÂ’s about cupped tires, imbalanced tires, needs wheel alignment or wheel bearings. What do you think i should do mga sirs? Should i buy new set of tires?

We're the wheels balanced after the tires were installed?

Hi sir, actually different mags din. Yung stock ko is 16s tapos ang nakalagay ngaun na maingay is 17s. So you think sir no need to buy new tires? Kelangan ko lang pa balance para mawala yung tunog? Yun din kac plano ko. Mahal kac tires tsaka sayang to kung di ko gagamitin. It looks new since 6 mos lang nagamit.

my wild guess is, either "cupped tires" or "tires out of round".
the unique tread wear pattern may be visible in cupped tires.
for tires out of round, it may be more difficult. an old timer advised me, "remove the wheel, over-inflate the tire a bit, and roll it on a flat, concrete surface. it it does not roll straight, it is probably out of round.
alas, the only solution for out of round (oblong), is replacement.
    good luck, po.

Sounds like you stored the tires with the wheels together. You should have stored it at around 40psi to avoid oblong-ing.

    Wheel balancing might help..

Thanks sir doc, yun din ang number 1 suspect ko e. May solution pa ba to? I’m planning to swap my front left tire and rear left tire and see if the sound will change position. Kung wala ng solution to basura tong tire ko. Hays

I hope so sir. I went to a tire shop kanina. Tapos sinabi ko issue. Ang sinabi sakin baka daw wheel bearing. I’m pretty sure it’s not. So i walked away and will try to visit other shop next time.
