February 18th, 2009 01:57 AM #1Hi there!
I need help in deciding which is the best brand new car for 600K budget.
Here are my considerations:
1. Fuel Efficiency
2. Safety
3. Best for city driving
we are just a small family (<4)
Thanks in advance

mine is Sentra * 605K. All-in na kasi siya, unlike Vios and lancer na higher na yung base price, nde pa kasama yung TPL/Compre/LTO etc.
Next and last choice, Vios. Very good FC.

kia rio.. malaki ang discount sa 690T nyan, up to 100T kung magaling/malakas ang SA mo. trick dito haggle every dealership ... free ba lto,compre,tint.. pero some dealers says "add 1000 for the matting". eto pinaka recommended ko nung naghahanap ako for that pice range..ALL POWER NA TO HA!from steering, windows, mirrors... research mo sa internet, maraming praises ang new rio...dont mind the steel rim tires.. papalitan mo din naman yan in time.
ok din sentra GX (1.3L, get the manual...if you want it to be fuel efficient), 2nd choice ko to actually, all power din..pero wala lang power mirror!
ok, vios, jazz city are good, but having a better resale..thats just about it...there are brands that i deem better, and resale value is not one of their highlights.
lancer is also good..lancer old body ha.. may abs airbag pa...
well, if you would like also, and does not care for resale and all the negative reviews, - chevy aveo sedan LT-- the best package among all. from remote trunk openers, battery savers....almost everything you can find in a mid-size car, nandito...pero yun lang, NAPAKADAMING BAD REVIEWS! AT STEALERSHIP stories..
medyo nasa pricey side na ang accent crdi,e...

It's a toss up between the Rio & Vios for me although the latter just looks too mundane for me with the million and one units out there in our streets.

almost all 600-700t cars are being used as taxi service. 3 are most choice of the taxis w/ "E"'s(r&e, mge, nine-stars, etc)--rio,TMNT(new) vios 1.3j and accent. of all of these, only the rio has--ALL POWER amenities!
i have ridden the TMNT(new) vios, test driven and ridden the rio and the accent.
if you really want efficiency and power, add an additional 50-100thou on your budget and get an accent!
pero * 690T(less discount+freebies), rio na ako.. taxi drivers, owners swear matipid talaga yun, kahit matic pa. and remember, real ALL-POWER to...wala lang trunk opener alarm ata meron na din...mags nalang nga kulang,e..
but kung di talaga kaya, sentra GX 1.3L na all-power MT kunin mo.. ok na din and then read mo nalang sa nissan GX thread kung anu ang additional fuel-saving tips na ginawa nila sa sasakyan nila. the classy look, and the wide array of body parts avail by nissan, ok na ok.. you can even convert this GX to look like a 180GT or GS.
ps-does the ALTO deluxe (the one with electric power steering) pasok sa choices nya--or too small(if he's considering an i10 or a picanto)..wag k lang padala sa in-house financing promo ng suzuki, wherein kailangan financing ka lang to avail the AV set-up/body kit set up..kung susumahin mo, better na nag-rio ka nalang in the end..Last edited by alwayz_yummy; February 18th, 2009 at 09:36 AM.
