Sana may malapit sa Pasig. My exhaust is rattling against the guard metal thingy under my Vectra. Parang bibigay na ang mounts ko.

    May alam kayo?

Having just spent 25k to replace radiator, water pump and timing belt, tensioner and roller assembly on my A/T 2001 Astra Caravan, I did not want to spend anymore on my front engine support which I discovered was also broken while doing all the other repairs.

Almost twice a week, on my way to Orchard Golf along the Molino road, I would notice a rubber bushing engine mount specialist. I decided to remove the front engine support and have them take a shot at it. They fabricated the rubber component from used tractor tires, even copied the proper softness of the mount and did a very professional looking job for Php 550 pesos, compared to the PHp 2 to 2.5k cost of the original part. I had them do the "taxi" hardness, since I travel 2 to 2.5k kilometers monthly on my Astra.

Installed it myself and I must say, it's just like the original and from the looks of it, will probably outlast the life of my car. I have not checked my right and left and transmission supports. If they are bad, I also have them done. They can do any kind of rubber bushing and mounts. Even suspension arms and the like.

If anyone wants to give it a shot, just call or text 09197081621. Look for Mr. Rico. They have a place along Molino Road, Cavite and also at Moonwalk, Paranaque.
