How much are the gas prices in your area.
Here in M.D. most ridiculous price I've seen personally is 3.84, I hate these f*cking people who justify their price increase as "a means of turning people away" (read in news paper that some even raised their prices to 4.99 and to think that according to the paper the REAL price of gas shld be around 2.84). I think gov't shld do something, like jail these m0therf*ckers, to teach them a lesson.
Pardon the harsh word mods it is just frustrating to see that you filled up your tank 2.71 on a Friday then immediately on a Sunday see it rise to 3.84, all because of rumor mongering by some people, maybe those with evil interest, that ALL gas stations would close after 4pm.

i'm with you dude, although prices haven't gone up so much in FL, even though we're one of the areas hard hit by Katrina. i credit that to the harsh state laws against price gouging in Florida. most states have strict laws against this kind of profiteering so you might want to snap some pics and email to law enforcement.
still, prices went from 2.7x to 3.09 for 93 octane, so we're still feeling it. our problem is more fuel shortages rather than price gouging.

$6.95 per gallon, mostly because of tax. I wonder how cheap it is in the Middle East?

It's sad... But for once, you Am-guys are paying as much as some of the rest of the world is paying... hurts!
We're still holding at about $2.29 to the gallon here in the RP, but it's still going up... *gulp*
What state you in, Rediesel? Heard it's over $5 in Louisiana because of the disaster.
