thank you sir, i will follow your advice since i seldom use the 1 and 2 position. btw, how about mga sensors or actuators na related sa transmission, meron po kaya dapat e check din para mag cause ung ganong problem?

Wala naman sir though i'm not that familiar po kasi sa mga sensors or actuators sa tranny po. Alam ko po kasi Old tranny po kasi yan like yun gamit ko po before kaya d po ganun ka complicated sir.

Transmission Speed Sensor yan, ganyan yung problem ko dati intermittent, try mo muna pascan to check for codes. Minsan ok tas pagsusumpong pag pahinto kana and aarangkada ayaw magshift sa segunda, tas restart mo ok na ulit.

sige po sir pa scan ko po ung speed sensor, ganon nga po kung pahinto ka tapos aarangkada ka na from 1st gear, hanggang doon nalang kahit e rev mo pa na halos umabot na sa 3k rpm ayaw mag segunda. sa ngayon di ko muna gamitin hanggang mapa change atf ko at ma check ung sensor. salamat po balitaan ko nalang kayo pag napa service ko na

mga bossing, pa advice naman po. ung gx ko na matic minsan ayaw magshift na segunda. kahit anong birit ko sa gas ayaw magshift sa second gear. pag hininto ko ng mga 10 seconds ok na uli. siguro mga 50 to 100 km ang matatakbo bago magkaganon nanaman uli na ayaw mag shift. naka on naman lagi ung OD ko at lagi nasa drive pag aarangkada. di ko nilalagay sa 1 and 2. may naka experience na po ba sa inyo ng ganitong sitwasyon? pa help naman po. maraming salamat

Kung tama po ang pag kakaintindi ko,na encounter ko n yan issue mo. Try mo sir mag hananap ng VSS (vehicle speed Sensor), that will solve it. Kasi po sakin, from normal speed, it can go up to 4th gear kaya lang pag na traffic na, Nag hihigh rev lang, ung tipong ayaw kumagat sa 2nd gear, until I need to turn off the engine, wait for 25 secs, then its normal again.

Try to ask a friend who has the same unit that you have. Kasi ung sakin, dumresto na ako ng Nissan Shaw, I had a video recording of what is the actual incident and they immediately stated its the VSS. I ask them what if hnd un, kasi brandnew ung bibilhin ko hnd namn un papalitan kung mali ang diagnose nila. They understood my sentiment, luckily, pinahiram nila ako... I tested it and drove it going to baguio. I did not encounter the said trouble. I had purchased the said part and it caused me around 7.5K

Instead of a basic ATF change, try having ATF dialysis done. There's a thread on that in the forums. Last time my friend had his done at Exalta in Banawe.

Sorry to hi jack thread. what are the signs that a exalta has transmission problems? I had the radiator overhauled and shifting is Ok.

Sometimes though I can hear a rattle sound coming from somewhere in the front. I'm not sure if it's a transmission problem.

Medyo underpowered po since 1.3 lang yong engine, pero kung relax driving lang naman kayo all the time, then swak na swak po sa inyo ito. Fuel consumption, depende po sa right foot nyo kung madalas kayo napapadiin sa gas pedal, mas malakas sa gas. Sa parts in terms of engine bay, exterior, and interiors, walang problema po yan. Marami yan sa mga surplus shops.
