Did Nissan PH apply to have 2023 Z sports car approved? | Autoindustriya
We have spotted that Nissan has already applied for government agency certification for two passenger cars with a 3.0-liter gasoline engine with an exact displacement of 2997cc. One has a curb weight of 1733 kg, while the other weighs 1700 kg. In the Nissan engine family, the exact displacement points out to the VR30DDTT engine that's powering the Z sports car.

Here's the PR teaser from Nissan PH:
The huge SUV in the middle is probably the new Patrol which has been announced overseas. The sedan could well be the Nissan Z (maybe the Nismo variant?).
The interesting ones are the other crossovers, which many car journos are guessing to be the X-Trail e-power and the Nissan Magnite (probably to compete with the Toyota Raize and the excellent Kia Sonet).
The X-trail e-power is interesting because it will use a similar serial hybrid powertrain like the Kicks, where the ICE basically acts as a generator for the electric motor. In Europe, there are two variants: a front wheel drive with 200hp and 330Nm of torque, and a dual motor version which can do 0-100kph in a little over 7 seconds.
What I think will make the X-trail a hit are not just the powertrain, but the fact that it is a hybrid 7-seater. Well, in Europe, at least.
I'm guessing we will be getting the front-wheel drive option and the top of the line will likely be the same price, or thereabouts, as the Zenix. The base variant will hopefully be about 1.7M.
