ilang inches yung oem speakers natin sa harap at sa likod, 5.25", 6", 6.5"? anong brand sya? may passive x-over ba sya or naka-series lang yung tweeter?

anong brand din yung oem 2din hu? may aux-in or usb option ba sa likod?

kung sakaling papalitan yung hu, ano at pano babklasin yung panel?

dapat pala hingi ko sya as a freebie hehe.... pero i doubt na ibibigay yun kasi PO transaction yung sakin meaning considered as cash at hindi sila kumita sa financing. malaki kasi kita ng casa sa financing (as much as 90K per unit) kaya pwedeng dun ibawas nalang yung mga extra freebies na naibibigay nila (ipod, extra remote, chattel, insurance).

i think meron na siyang aux-in sir, hindi lang talga ako sure. kung sakali benta mo yung stock HU (yung me MP3) PM mo naman sa akin baka sakaling bilin ko (kung ok sa price, hehehe). hesitant kasi mag-upgrade si misis basta sa electrical eh. hehehe

i think meron na siyang aux-in sir, hindi lang talga ako sure. kung sakali benta mo yung stock HU (yung me MP3) PM mo naman sa akin baka sakaling bilin ko (kung ok sa price, hehehe). hesitant kasi mag-upgrade si misis basta sa electrical eh. hehehe

ayy mid-level variant (luxury) lang yung GL ko. parang wala akong nakikitang MP3 logo dun. i really haven't tried. meron nga bang aux-in and mp3 compatible na ba yung hu para sa mid-variant?

ah ok ganon po ba, thanks sir, I didn't know there was another vent there. So I suppose ganon din, tatanggalin din yung grill to access the vent sir?

Also, sa Westgate ko din nakuha GL ko e, so it seems that it's not just me na nagreklamo about the vent issue sa kanila. Do u mind sharing sir kung anong parts yung hinihintay nila and kung anong procedure daw gagawin on the car? Thanks sir!

Hi, Sorry for the confusion at malabo kasi ako mag kwento minsan . About the parts na hinihintay namin, eto yung para sa repair ng damages sa bangga, and is not related to the vent.

About sa smoke/vent issue, according to westgate alabang, they need at least two days to fix it. Kasi, i-pull down nila yung buong dash. My theory there is yung flap na nag close and open for recirculation ay hindi lumalapat pag close. You would notice it, try switching it from recirculation to outside air - meron solid thug ka maririnig meaning the flap or window seal reaches its maximum end when opening. then switch it back from outside air to recirculation, you will just hear a sliding sound and no solid thug sound at all.

Isasabay ko na lang paayos ito sa repair ng damages ng bangga when the parts becomes available pa (door, mags and tail lights).

* Eggy reyes -- sir yun mid variant ng gl can not read mp3 disk and 4 lang ang speakers nya yun elegance can read mp3 disk and can store 6 disk inside th HU hence 6 ang speakers nya. For both units ng gl walang aux in sa likod ng HU. Yun po ang pag kaka alam ko.

If ever na papalitan nyo po yun HU nyo babaklasin po yun center panel kung san nakalagay yun HU (Silver plastic molding). D naman sya complicated baklasin kasi nakita ko nung nagpalit ako ng HU. Sa banawe ko lang pinagawa and ok naman.

*Alnr- Sir nasa akin yun Original Headunit ng GL ko, yun 6 disc loadable that can read mp3 disk. Let me know if your interested.

a ok sir, akala ko kasi parts sa vent anyway let me know sir, i'm curious to see what they'll actually do.

I tried looking for the other vent on the driver side kaso di ko mabukasan yung plastic grill, not unlike the other one on the passenger side, there's a small access panel/grill that you can easily remove to access the vent.

pano niyo natanggal yung grill sir?

hi GL owners, share ko lang observations ko sa GL ko, i got the unit 18 march. Mileage ko is now roughly 1700kms, i had my first PMS (1T kms) more than two weeks ago. Thankfully, I didn't experience the smoke problem reported by some GL owners, pero meron din ako nung noises observed by some (A/C thud from 0 to 1 and the one when the steering wheel reaches the max turning radius). Re my unit's performance, I have no problems at all, ok AC, maganda arangkada. Nakaka 2 na out of town trips na ko (each roughly 350kms round trip). Both trips kasama ko family ko (6 adults and one toddler). The first one was to minalungao near gapan, nueva ecija. Ang panget ng daan, meron portion don na 15min stretch of dirt road na maraming mga fist-sized stones, ang sakit, para akong aatakihin sa mga tok tok at tok, hehehe. Dami rin steep na roads, kayang kaya naman ng makina. Sturdy naman yung ilalim, i had it checked nung 1st pms ko, no problems daw. The second trip was to caylabne in cavite, mas maganda daan, zigzagging at steep din mga roads kasi you pass through a mountain to reach the resort (i think). FC was roughly 10 kms/litre. I have never bested 10 kms/litre sa mga trips ko, halo halo na kasi yung traffic, hi-way driving, at running engine while the GL was parked. Also puno rin ako palagi (6 adults + 1 toddler) and no.3 yung AC ko palagi.

Pasensya na sa nobelang post ko, hehehe, meron ako ipost later na issues din about sa coating and accelerator ng GL ko. Thanks all!

How about city driving, ano FC mo? And what gasoline are you using?
