*blooperoo - akala ko rin di ko makita at first. open the bonnet / hood. at the left hand side of the drain cover na grilles, meron ka makita na removable part, around 8inches ang length. meron dalawang slit sa ibaba that you have to push para ma-unlock. inside you'll see the inlets. hindi pa ako nakabili ng cover pero your suggestion seems okay para hindi halata un cover. thanks to lydemer also.

Yes tama ka, there is a removable component (sa left hand side ng car at front) sa cowl cover in order for you to gain access to the air inlets. Medyo tight squeeze yun for you to manouver in order to put the foam pero worth it if natapos na. The adhesive foam from 3m is colored black so di siya halata when you use it to cover the inlets. In addition maganda ang adhesive niya and industrial strength ito so it will not be removed easily especially when the car is baked under the sun. The foam also acts as a filter so it won't cause any problems when you try to set the air circulation settings to allow air from outside to come in.

for the city-dwellers, if you think about it, when was the last time we used this? it's not even "fresh" air, by the way. just open the window slightly for a minute in long drives to recycle the air. but if you live in tagaytay, baguio...etc...let it be na lang.
