If there's a problem with the immobiliser, the security or CEL lamp would blink. Although it would probably show up when you hook it up with Nissan's Consult. I still think there may be a problem with one of the engine sensors.
IMO, immobilizers rarely conk out except if the chip inside the key went out of program which could easily be solved by re-progamming.

i think it could be by-passed using that same nissan program being used in ecu.. but ofcourse nissan won't disable a safety device, would you?
