August 23rd, 2015 08:43 PM #592I was able to set the mirrors on my elgrand qd32eti. First, set the left mirror to desired angle by using the power controls. Next, have a friend to hold and keep the left mirror in place, then set the right mirror to desired angle. Done.

.
My Elgrand is purring like a cat now when idling and makes heads turn in nlex (especially the traffic guys) when I hit 150 because I forget to look at the tach and not let it hit 3k rpm...

February 17th, 2016 12:12 AM #596I'm new to this thread. I plan to get an elgrand but the unit I saw has a qd32 motor which vibrates. I hope I'm right that it is the engine support. where can i buy engine supports for the nissan elgrand 1997-1999 ? What other vehicles share the same engine support ? For the masters, am I right to think that the vibrations are due to the poor/old engine supports ?

Its been years since my last post to this thread..
For years I've been having the same problem with "Exclusivo" where my ellie shuts down RANDOMLY but works fine after starting it again.
Usually the engine shuts off when you accelerate from complete stop. The moment you step on the gas the engine stalls and shuts off. This also happens sometimes while moving (40-60 kph) when I let go of the pedal and steps on it again it shuts off. Also happens sometimes at high speeds (80kph up). This problem normally happens once or twice on a 5 hr ride to manila and and more often on a stop and go traffic.
I've tried numerous shops to fix the problem to no avail..
Central Diesel after OB scan said its an electrical problem.. but cant identify which.
Zexel Diesel said injection pump needs calibration but engine runs fine w/o smoke so I doubt it.
Local mechanic changed fuel pump and filter, cleaned MAF and checked for hose leaks and still the same.
So I just lived with the problem, besides I just need to restart the engine and it will run fine until next shut down..
But now it the problem is occurring more often and I'm trying to fix it again.
Hopefully I can get some help from you guys. I'll also update you if I ever fixed the problem.

Sir. I don't know if this will help you. I was reading the forums in the elgrand club of australia and UK and one of the members had the same problem. If I'm not mistaken, he aslo had scanning done and he went to different mechanics. He was able to trace the problem on his own by checking the relays. He stated that due to the age of the e50, sometimes the relay of the injector(?) / glow plugs(?) get stuck. So what he did was to replace this and everything returned to normal.
