mukhang average naman ata yung consumption mo... considering the distance from nova to greenhills + yung 500 pesos mo is around 9.9 liters lang.

    also consider the traffic condition....

the most accurate way to measure the FC of a car is to start from an empty tank to a full tank.
i divide mo lang yung total na tinakbo ng oto mo (via the odometer) vs the number of liters sa full tank.

    example:

number of liters full tank : 40 liters
number of kilometers na tinakbo : 500 kilometers

    500 kilometers/40 liters = 12.5 kilometeres per liter.

the FC of each car varies from:

    - distance
    - engine displacement
    - engine condition
    - proper tire inflation
    - car load
    - traffic condition
    - driver behavior.

pag more or less ka dun sa normal FC nung car mo, you are doing fine. for example, the average 1.6 cc car consumes around 9-11 kpl, but may vary depending on:

    - pure highway driving
    - mixed city and highway driving
    - pure city driving

based on the example above for a 1.6 cc car which averages around 9-11 kpl:

    - pure highway : if you hit around 10-11 kpl, you are within the standards... pag maka 12 kpl ka, mas ok. pag 9 kpl, still acceptable.
    - mixed : if you hit around 9 kpl, its still within range, if you hit around 8 kpl, still acceptable.
    - pure city : if you hit around 7-8, still acceptable.

my actual experiences on my two current cars:

Nissan Sentra 1.6 96 Super Saloon A/T : normally consumes around 8-9 kpl.
Pure city ko : 7 kpl
    Mixed : 8 kpl
    Pure highway : 10 kpl.

Hyundai Getz 1.1 GL M/T : normally consumes around 12-13 kpl.
Pure city ko : 10 kpl.
    Mixed : 10-11 kpl.
Pure highway: I've hit 16 kpl once, but I average around 14 kpl.

    hth.

san ang route mo pre? via soledad - san antonio sucat or soledad - multinational - airport road? trapik yung lugar na yun pre eh dami pang humps, so primera - segunda ka parati. At 500 pesos = 9 liters, assuming you are consuming 5 kpl due to the traffic conditions, it can only take you around 45 kilometers or 15 kilometers per day. the distance between SM Bicutan - MOA is around 9 kilometers one way.

    18 kilometers travelled each day.
    5 kilometers per liter
    = daily consumption = 3.6 kilometers = 180 pesos
    180 pesos * 3 days = 540 pesos.

    therefore you are ok pa.
if you can take alternate (longer pero faster route, it would be better).
try to compute din if the fuel you save will be more than the toll fees that you will be paying if you would be taking the Bicutan - SLEX - EDSA - MOA route.

    imho lang.

    imho lang.
Via W. Service Road, Sales Road, Andrews Ave. , Palabas papuntang Roxas Blvd., then Taft then pabalik Epifanio de los santos Avenio papunta Diokno. Based sa Google MAP 12.7 Km, 20 mins ung travel.

Sa isip ko sana ng 1.3L Engine nlng ako. Parang hindi na ksi normal sa 1.6L.

    Kng ganyan

    kilometers_traveled = 12.6 kms
no. of days = 3 days x 2 (back and forth)
    no. of liters = 9 (Php. 500)

    (kilometers_traveled * no. of days) / no. of liters = km/L
    City = (12.6 * 6) / 9 = 8.4 km/l
