Help! 2006 Nissan Sentra GSX Noisy Engine and Normal RPM

Hello Tsikoteers,

I recently bought a 2nd hand Nissan Sentra GSX 2006 and noticed that it is noisier (as I hear it during driving) than the previous Toyota Vios' I've driven. At first I thought it was because I was driving at a low gear with high RPM. However, I tried driving at 3rd gear (30-40 kph) at 2000-2500 RPM and it was still noisy. Pa-advise naman please what should I do to fix this. Thanks!

I have another question regarding recommended speed range per gear of Nissan Sentras (wala kasi sa owner's manual). This is what I follow: 1st gear - up to 10kph, 2nd - up to 30 kph, 3rd - up to 40 kph, 4th - up to 60 kph, 5th - 60kph up. Is this right? Thanks again!

sir ponkan, same problem with 06 sentra din.pero nakamuffler kasi ako kaya medyo hindi ko marinig,.pag naka primera kasi ako or segunda after realeasing the gas pedal parang nasa batuhan yung gulong.,nung una akala ko normal lang with my muffler.,pero 3rd gear up wala na yun.,ok pa naman transmission oil ko..help on this naman.,thank you..

to TS nabasa ko un sa isang thread un problem mo, binili mo ba un car na nasa 100k un mileage? kasi medyo mataas sya for 2006 model, im not saying bad un mataas na mileage pero kasi depende pa din yan sa alaga saka sa gamit ng previous owner so year kasi na 2006 di pa dapat nag reached ng 100k mileage kumbaga gamit na gamit un nabili mo, may records ba sya from the casa?
