July 4th, 2014 08:37 PM #161I haven't noticed that sound at the driver side door. Maybe I'll check it out tomorrow and test the fog lights switch.

July 5th, 2014 12:04 AM #164The discounts that any dealer publicly advertises normally relies on you getting in house financing. The discounts are the bait to lure you in with the in house financing.
If you don't have working relationship with any bank, then sometimes, that in house financing would be a bit cheaper.
But the reality is that you can get a better deal if you can a financing rate from the bank and deal with the directly and let them deal with the dealer (Nissan in this case).
As for discounts, there were when I confirmed my order with financing thru my bank just this June. That discount is less 13k from the advertised SRP.
You can always get a quote from Nissan regarding your preferred DP and the term duration and compare that with a bank of your choice.
In house packages the insurance free as well as TPL along with Chattel Mortgage. Thru bank financing, those are all outside the bank and you need to shell out for them.
Just compare and decide.
Regarding the review, I've only driven our unit about 200kms and already gave my initial thoughts in this thread. Just back read 2-3 pages I think. I can't concretely recall if another user has already posted their impression of owning a 1.6CVT along side mine.

What do you mean that the cover isn't fixed? You mean it broke loose? I checked mine and it's fastened tight. I wonder how yours got loosened.
Wow, your post is encouraging. 10km/L on a car this size and an automatic at that, is pretty neat. So far, at 840kms, I am only getting less than 7. What fuel do you use sir? I have tried a full tank (40L) of PTT's RON 95 yesterday and quite puzzled why the engine suddenly ran harsh than when it's been loaded with Shell RON91 (fuelsave).

July 5th, 2014 12:51 AM #168Oh yeah, I keep forgetting to ask 1.8 owners. Do your intelligent key Fobs have a real key hidden inside them that you can pull out? In case the intelligent key loses power?
Or were you given a separate key that is not hidden in the key fob?
I always wondered about that. Because if I recall correctly the ASX my uncle has (with the push start/stop system) doesn't have a real key hidden inside the fob.
Just curious

July 5th, 2014 12:57 AM #170Ic ic. I can't remember though pero there are instructions on how to start your car in the manual though if and when you intelleigent key "dies" for battery reasons. I didn't care to read it though but I saw it was showing the key inside in the diagram. So just heads up I guess as a need to know in case of battery failure.
