Hope they bring it here as soon as it's launched. Maganda nga to launch a new car now since the Civic isnt that great it seems while the Lancer and Altis will start ageing in the coming year while Elantra stocks are just backed up right?
* the Sentra 200, if it sold at the 800K range, it would have been a good seller if you ask me. It has good fit, feel and finish when i tried it out but the price and specs were just quite prohibitive.

Well, atleast its cheaper than the incoming Mazda 3 * 999k. But it's still expensive, if you ask me since you can get at a much lesser price a 6spd MT Altis.
If the Sylphy will be priced around 820-850k at least for an entry level, it would most likely sell. If they can't bring it that low, sucks for them.

April 24th, 2012 06:49 PM #20i actually like this. the car has taken a nice direction in terms of design. more elegant that aggressive, yet not as bland as the new civic. i just hope for the following:
1.) NO FAKE WOOD. please. i kinda like jet black plastic now (more than silver accents)
2.) wheels should at least be 16" (for the base model. 17" for the higher end variants)
3.) drop the beige interior as well (black+grey works best in our market)
4.) drop the 1.3 base model (they should have a proper subcompact model for that. no more n16s! 12 years old na yun!)
5.) Price should be 900k-1.2M for the entire range
6.) do some actual marketing and advertising. really.
