just want to update regarding the engine noise issues that i've been having.
a week ago, i decided to drain dry my gas and changed back from XCS to Xtra Unleaded with E10 of Petron. after a day, meron pa ring noise and foul smell. after 4 days, tahimik na ulet makina pero meron paring konting smell. as of kanina, tahimik pa ren, tapos nde na masyado ung smell sa exhaust pipe.

so i therefore conclude, ung high octane fuel ng XCS caused the louder engine noise and the foul smell sa exhaust.

i was planning to keep using the Xtra unleaded until i read the Petron petition to DoE regarding ethanol being harmful to engines...

hayz. back to XCS....

Sigurado ka bang sa gas ang dahilan ng foul smell sa exhaust pipe . Tungkol din sa engine noise mo. kelan ka ba huling nag palit ng spark plug o tune up ng sasakyan.

yes i'm sure and my test on changing back from XCS's 95 to Xtra's 93octane gas proved it.
as mentioned in the previous posts, i had my 10K pms less than a month ago which gave my ride a tune-up and new spark-plugs.

May discount ba ngayon ang 1.3 gx? Last time I checked 600k na ang manual transmission. I'm planning to buy.. syempre hulugan he he.

meron po i don't know kung how much, try niyo po sa CRVI Nissan Makati, sa Pasong Tamo near Citimotors, look for ms Judith Cruz, ok po siya na Sales Agent, Great Deals with her, already bought 2 cars under her last year=)

Guys share ko lang experience about XCS and Seaoil's 97Xtreme, i used to fill my tank with Seaoil 97 and here are the advantages:
1. Bumilis konti yung hatak
2. From 8-9 km/l fc naging 10km/l fc ako

Disadvantages:

1. Maingay yung makina
2. Maamoy yung gas

Eto naman sa XCS:
Adv:
1. ok ang hatak; mas "buo"
2. Walang ingay sa makina, tahimik

DisAdvantages:
1. From 10km/l ng Seaoil, naging 8-9km/l nalang.

Same route to guys everyday. Fairview-Makati vice-versa.

Now I'm back sa SeaOil's 97Extreme. Worry ko lang is bakit ang ingay ng makina..
