Tumataas Temp ng L200 ko.. 4D56 Engine po..

i have the same problem. i drive a single cab mitsu 4d56 turbo diesel(i think it's a 2.7 li displacement) at nagririse ung temp during traffic(up to 3/4 ng gauge) at ayoko paabutin p ng red zone.todo paligo ung radiator everytime it happens. i use a prestone coolant. thermostat already removed.fan belt tension is good.water pump working.radiator cap replaced (before 1.4 ung rating but i replaced it with a 0.9 kg/cm2). still overheating p rin sa traffic at bumaba ung temp kapag on the go na. i dont think n ung radiator has all the blame kc d p naman masyado madumi ung loob.may konti kalawang lang. the original engine before was a gasoline engine (as indicated by the fuel gauge "unleaded gas only and as said by the previous owner. the odo reading is 205k plus (in miles not kms) pero kasama n dun ung kms rdg nung gas p lng sya.

Ano po bah ang reason pag tumataas ang temp? I had my rad overhauled already.. Brand new din water pump ko.. Bagong palit head gasket ko.. Nag palit ako ng camshaft last week but pag tingin namin gastado na din yung shaft ng rocker arm.. Could this be the problem?? Hindi nka set yung clearance? Or kailangan na kasi palitan ng liner and piston ring.. Could it also be the culprit?? Pls help me.. Ito lang kasi ride ko and I have to drive my kid to school and fetch him also.. plus may leaks n rin ng engine oil s intake and exhaust manifold na side. i hope gasket replacement lng.nothing else.sana.at the injector side naman e diesel leaks.ngleleak kc ung ung bypass hose (i think) s injector.ung line galing s injector papunta s injector.pero the injector was recently overhauled.last may ata un.o san k p?!hindi kakalawangin ung engine block.hehehehe

dre, baka sira yung water pump mo kaya nauubos ang tubig dahil di naikot yung tubig

hi sir try ko lng ma solve problem mo,
nwei base sa discussion nyo dyan, base on my experience try mo i check yung cooling system ng engine, rad fan, thermo detector, thermostat, radiator, yung water pump mukhang napalitan mo na yata, so trial and error lang, baka ikaw din ang makagawa ng solution, ang water pump kpg sira may leak yan sa side ng pulley makikita mo yung tagas ng tubig, 2nd, try mong alisin yung thermostat yung nag pu-push ng pressure para ang itsura nya dun nakakabit ang hose from radiator, naka elbow sya at my dalawang turnilyo, alisin mo sya para yung flow ng tubig dretso na, ginagamit lang yan kasi kpg winter lang, eh dito di applicable yan, once tumaas yun temp mo? try to check yun fan kung umaandar pa, kung hindi umaandar try mo direct yun wiring ng fan sa battery kung umandar sya di dun ang problema, try to check yung relay ng rad fan, ask ko lng kung na uubusan k ng tubig? kung hindi thermostat and rad fan lng po. dont use any coolant, mag cre-creat ng currosion yan, cge po GBU

Hi sir, were you able to solve your problem? Well,Try checking your fan... Umaandar nga pero baka mahina naman. It happened to our STRADA L200 na rin. Also try checking the pulley of the belt. Kasi pag traffic kmi dati, tumataas temp and nawawala lamig ng a/c. Try mu tignan kung ok ang belt, fan and yun pulley. thanks

try topping up silicon oil on your clutch fan...check mo din baka nakafix na ang fan mo..this is bad at bababa ang fuel economy mo at di mo pwede ilusong sa baha masira fan blades mo..ako id topped-up one tube ng silicon oil sa fan clutch so far till 1/2 lang ang highest reading ko sa temp gauge ko during traffic at above 100kph hopes this helps..btw 97 Fb ride ko...
