Advantage niya is mura siya mabili na second hand and fairly reliable naman siya if you get one that is relatively fresh.
I think more of pang rallye ang make ng Lancer na ito. Do check out the Old school forum of http://www.mitsulancerph.org

April 19th, 2008 03:28 PM #3Nope rear-wheel po siya. I had one of those in the 80's -- SUPER car. Reliable, fantastic handling and response. Don't know why it's not so big on drifting but probably there are not as many of these babies left in good condition.
Kung ako naman magre-restore, no way ko siya gagawing pang drift lang!

I used to have box type 1982 A/T. Year 2000 ay gamit ko pa and can still achieve 120kph. Benta ko na kasi nagwork ako overseas pero ok lang ang engine but problem ko ay leaking na mga seal and transmission problem and corrosion. 50 t will be enough if ok ang engine or walang major problem kasi madali lang ipalatero yung body ng box type and available naman mga parts nyan....
SHARING IS CARING....

I remember our 1982 Box Type.... It's definitely a good car to own then. Handling is excellent and I was doing 12Km/L. Had really nice memories with the car.... Now, it is owned by my in-laws and everytime I see it,- I can only smile thinking that we've had good times.....

May 1st, 2008 09:59 PM #9Honestly, kulang yung 50k sa restoration ng Boxtype, you have to consider na marami ka pang papalitan na mga parts while the car is undergoing body repair. We had 2 of those in the 80's, the first one was a 1983 GSR which was sold at the end of the 80's and the other one was the last of the SL's which was sold in 2006 for 18k (sobrang bulok na kasi yung body)

This is a great car but aesthetic parts are soooo expensive that I had to let go of my 1983 GSR.
As expected, in response to Tesla’s entry into the Philippines market, Ford will be bringing in the...
