July 5th, 2020 12:15 PM #21totoo. you can play the numbers
-sa toyota wag ka lang matapatan ng lemon baka mapa warranty mo shock absorbers. sa case namin noon radio nag loloko so pinalitan. i can understand you can save a lot sa labas.
-yung montero namin wala ako napa warranty kaso in hindsight baka pwede pumasok yun aux fan motor at also shock absorber but by the time nalaman ko lapse na 2yrs.

I normally follow the dealership's recommended maintenance schedule while the car is under warranty...
After ng warranty, change oil/spark plugs/air filter every 6 months + whatever the manual recommends.
mostly miles/kms ang mentioned sa manual... Philippine city cars needs more than 2 hours to cross 22kms (EDSA)

Just thinking...
For my Honda City...
10K or 6 months...
1.5 hours to reach my office which is 30kms away - est daily use.
2 way - 3 hours, 60kms distance
If there was no traffic and I can drive at 60km/h, my 3 hours per day is actually 180kms/day
*180kms/day - I will reach 10,000 kms in 3.5 months.
(10,000/180/4/4 - 1 day coding, weekend trips were not calculated)

Detonation or pre-ignition. Treated it like a naturally aspirated engine, boy was I wrong. No issues with it now though.
