1st month PMS today. BGC doesn't have the service code for the XForce yet and it was tagged as an Xpander. PMS is twice a year afterwards.
Still no auto parking brake on Park.

September 5th, 2024 09:57 AM #82Paano malaman ano brand ng CVT gamit?
If hindi Aisin kasi like the Mirage, walang masagot mga SA.

Best bet siguro is to crawl under the car and look for signs. Only confirmation I can find online comes from AI and Visor.
Aren't Toyota and Daihatsu CVTs from Aisin also?

September 5th, 2024 11:33 AM #84i agree.
gapang na lang sa ilalim and see if there are manufacturer's markings.
as an aside,
we can't always expect SAs to know all there is to know about their product.... especially if that piyeza brand is on the notorious side (and needs to be hidden! heh heh.)...
but it would be nice if they knew..
"mr. SA, anong headlight ang 'gamit nito?" ... koito... stanley... depo... heh heh.

Unless Vehicle manufacturers opted to detail it in their press release/tech data for marketing purposes usually it is up to large-scale transmission shops/Third-party Manufacturers for both parts and service manuals(e.g Haynes) that have physical access(since some dont have markings) to the transmissions and will identify and sort them into a common family/model group, and if needed point out any differences for a particular variant of the transmission(e.g Ford's 6R80 vs ZF 6HP26).

Kinda the rule of the game i guess since the same car can be very different across markets(or even across plants targeting the same market - The Previous Gen D40 navara in some markets sourced their units from both thailand and spain which had multiple differences including a different frame)
As expected, in response to Tesla’s entry into the Philippines market, Ford will be bringing in the...
