Just like what they did with the Xpander.
Laki ng sales nila sa Xpander although I doubt the traditional AT was the contributing factor.

Now it's just the Xpander still with 2 airbags in 2024, 12 year old Mirage, and decades old L300. Montero and Triton are just par for the competition and priced as such, not really offering tremendous value for 2024.
Even Toyota is leveling up on the basic features of its volume-selling products. I guess people still prefer the "if it aint broke, don't fix it" formula.
