BTW, the one with video happened with a senior citizen driver, retired military yata. It happened sa Marikina sa st. Vincent hospital. Very familiar area as I pass by there almost regularly.

Can't comment without the video, unfortunately.

Like I said, it's possible that he wasn't pressing hard enough on the brakes, but if he was at least pressing on the brakes, that is evidence that he probably wasn't pressing on the gas pedal.

TV Patrol– February 17 2016 Watch Pinoy HD Replay Full Episode – Resultpk

    4th video, around 0:40 seconds.

Another parking lot scene. But this time with the brake lights on. Same pattern with previous videos.

Now this video is different from other videos since you can clearly see that the brake lights are on but still the montero plowed the other cars! How can that happen? I'm pretty sure the retired general is stepping on the brakes with enough force. Or is he stepping on both pedals thus causing the accident?

some facebook page said the gas pedal cannot overpower the brake pedal. so how do we explain that?

IMHO. Umarangkada na muna bago makatapak sa brake, may momentum kaya umabot parin dun sa mga nakapark pero hindi ganun kalakas ang impact. Pero nakakatakot padin. huhuhu.

Ang dami na ng incidents... Im guessing the total tally will eventually surpass a certain figure in my head. But hoping nobody gets hurt. And maybe a closure not from topgear and abscbn. Lol.

exactly. I already said it before. If you look at the numbers, you can already see a common factor - Montero.

Because if it is purely human error as what Mitsubishi claims (and even Top Gear supports), why does it happens mostly on MS only? Are MS drivers dumb compared to drivers of others SUVs?
