newbie here.. just wanna ask po kung good buy po ba ang 2001 galant "shark" supersaloon 1.8??? ano po ba mdalas nasisira d2??

* hackspole dude review all the posts in this forum. iba-iba din kasi ang usual problem na e-encounter ng mga Galant Owners. It depends syempre sa history ng Car. Ako suggest ko lang yung Sparks kasi yun yung dati ko na-experience na trouble. I'm not really a mechanic din. Just basing on experience. Brand new ba yung Alternator na pinalit or surplus din? Pwede rin kasi yun eh...or Igniter nga.

*sofia i have a 99 vr shark. current problem ko lang is yung mabilis maubos ang coolant (yung nasa water reservoir), but never pa naman ako nag-overheat. tubig na lang nilalagay ko. once a year lang ako lagay ng coolant. kumakabig pati sa right ang car ko (when I release the steering wheel). Mech says papalitan na ng tyrod at rack end. pro up to now di ko pa rin sya paayos, coz Im still looking for parts. ibig sabihin mga minor lang problems ko. but still it depends on the previous owner so make sure you got the service history of the car. baka lumangoy na yang shark na gusto mo sa baha....we'll never know.

medyo magkaiba pati tayo when it comes to the engine. 2.5 kasi sa akin. kaya ang problem ko talaga...matakaw sa gas. so im sure yung sa 'yo is fairly reasonable naman sa gas consumption. check out my posts (aorund page 11-16), alam ko I've posted a featurette on TOP GEAR about the GALANT I owned.

Sir/Madam,

Newbie here ask ko lang kung bakit mabagal parin yung takbo ng auto ko parang binabawi yung takbo niya lalo na pagnasa 3rd gear na ko. bagong palit naman yung fuel filter, sparks, battery, kaka change oil ko lang. parang humihina yung takbo niya lalo na pagna bright ako. parang delayed pa siya?
Naka '92 galant ako 2.0 Li.

Just a suggestion installed grounding kit it may help the stock grounding due to old wire and rust in the connection may be the cause . If you will install one you will feel the different in your lighting system , acceleration , stable idling .
