The best I managed was 14km/l.
Try checking if your tires are properly inflated. Then, see if you're carrying unnecessary cargo in your Adventure (nakakadagdag din kasi yun sa konsumo). Also check if you have external accessories that affect your vehicle's aerodynamics, such as roof racks and extended bumpers.
Depende din kasi sa klase ng diesel na gamit mo. Petron Diesel Max has one of the best mileage readings, while Shell Diesoline has the worst. To extend your fuel mileage, bakit hindi mo subukang mag-biodiesel?Last edited by Bogeyman; November 13th, 2007 at 12:21 AM.

Next time na magpa-gas ka, i-reset mo sa 0000 yung trip meter mo. Then, drive normally until your next trip to the gas station. Take note of the kilometer reading on your trip meter, then divide it by how many liters it takes to fill your tank at that moment.
The result will give you a general idea of your average fuel consumption.

I don't have any personal experience with both cars but based on the data from C! magazine the Honda city 1.5 CVT can do 15 km a liter on highway driving while the Lancer GLS can do 14 km a liter on highway driving. Agian this is just the info I saw on C!. I think Mitsu has the promo for the Lancer becasue they are expecting the new model of the Lancer early next year.

malakas sa gas ang lancer. the company has one and it gives only 7 kms on city driving with a/c on all the time. sa highway it varies from 13 to 15kms per lit, a/c on all the time also.
their current and previous engine cant be compared with vvti of toyota and vtec of honda in terms of fuel efficiency.
