Try to have your own gauge and observe the best psi reading given by that gauge. Different gauges have different psi reading, kaya kahit sundin natin ang recomended tire pressure di tayo siguradong tama ang nakalagay na hangin dahil sa gauge. Dapat isa lang ginagamit na gauge.

Rule of Thumbs for tires:
1.) Iwasan magkaroon ng BILBIL ang tires due to less pressure induced.
2.) The harder the tires are (of course dun sa tire maker specs lang na basis), the softer the engines are and vice versa.
As for me, I experimenting now on 30psi front and 36psi rear. FC soon to come.

I just finished my 2week FC experiment today. My tire pressures are 30psi front & 36psi rear, Petron Diesel fuel, mixed city traffic driving and hiway driving. Mountain ranges uphills and down hills for 2weeks. Total distance travel was 522.1km and total fuel consumed for that 2week drive was 46.15liters (full tank ako sagad last 2weeks ago and then nagpa-full tank sagad uli ako today with 46.15liters). By calculation as 522.1km/46.15liters, my FC will be 11.313km/liter (mixed city, hiway, & mountain driiving).
Summary:
1st trial: hiway driving only (break-in period) - abt. 16km/liter * 26psi front & 36psi rear, petron diesel.
2nd trial: mixed hiway,city traffic medium & heavy, mountain driving - 11.87km/liter * 28psi front & 36psi rear, petron diesel.
3rd trial: mixed hiway,city traffic medium & heavy, mountain driving - 11.31km/liter * 30psi front & 36psi rear, petron diesel.
Conclusion:
My Adve 2011 GLS Sport FC is 11km/liter. (for purpose of fuel refilling at stations, I'll just use 10km/liter).
My preferred tire pressure shall be 30psi front & 36psi rear (mas mahatak Adve ko sa pressures na ito at hindi masyadong matagtag. Mas mabilis ang response ng gas pedal ko during overtakes sa ganitong pressures).
Lumalabas na: (based on my tests only)
1.) Front tire pressure is DIRECTLY proportional to FC. Meaning, "the higher the front tire pressures, the higher the fuel consumption will be". Although incremental and decimal difference lang naman halos. Anyways, I will still continue to test on the next 2 weeks. The more tests, the better.
2.) Ideal tire pressures are 26psi & 36psi. Now i know kung bakit ito ang prescribed pressures ng manual. The problem lang dito is mukhang laging FLAT ang front tires and as the tires grow OLD, lalong magmumukhang flat ito sa 26psi. The older the tire goes, the more pressure should be used in order to counter the rubbers deteriorating elastic properties. Kailangan ma-maintain ang tires sa shape na wala itong masyadong BILBIL.
