The windshield of my Advie got hit by a stone and now needs to be replaced. Insurance quotes me 7K+ as participation fee while the casa people opened the option that I shoulder the cost of the replacement which will amount to 5K plus labor.
I need your help to minimize my losses. Is there a difference between OEM windshields vs. replacement like the ones they sell at Aguila Auto Glass in terms of price and/or durability? Is the rate given by the casa justified? Thanks po in advance!

I suggest giving Aguila a call to inquire how much their replacement glass will cost you to buy and have it installed.
No other way to really find out until you make the call.
