Help - Restoring a Mistubishi Pajero Box-type

Hi mga sirs,

hingi po sana ako ng advice kung saan pde dalhin ung pajero ng father-in-law ko para mapa restore ung Pajero na 1989 (Box type) MT? Basically, pinagpipilian kasi kung ibebenta sya or aayusin na lang.

Ito ung current condition ng sasakyan:

- Engine is ok but mejo malakas na mag consume ng diesel
- Aircon mahina na
- Suspension is bouncy
- Interior needs new upholstery
- Exterior kelangan ng hilamos
- Dashboard and speedometers no longer working
- Sound system kelangan update

Magkano kaya ang magagastos para paayos? Or kung bebenta as-is naman, magkano kaya sya?

- Engine is ok but mejo malakas na mag consume ng diesel
Pa check mo engine baka needs tune up and konting maintenance lang yan... Worst case overhaul... mga 30K(not so sure)... Kung ako kay Ray Sarol ko dadalhin...

- Aircon mahina na
Baka need cleaning lang and sympre palit ng drier and expansion valve... tnacha ko mga 2500 to 3000... Best place to bring is kay Mang Mario...

- Suspension is bouncy
No idea.. Try Cruven or Zee

- Interior needs new upholstery
Pag seat cover lang mga 7500 ata yung mga synthetic leather na seat cover... Try mo sa Banawe meron yan... or seatmate.. or boy ching... or MG ba yun... dami choices

- Exterior kelangan ng hilamos
eto mga 20K to 25K and make sure magaling yung gagawa..

- Dashboard and speedometers no longer working
Kailangan ma check ng mekaniko or electrician kung baket hindi gumagana... pwedeng speedometer cable lang ang sira... or wiring... Electrical shop Wizzard, Reys, yaks and many more

- Sound system kelangan update
Hu, Seps, Sub, Amp, pag budget setup lang HU mga P4500, Seps na Entry Level nasa P2000, Sub na Targa with box nasa 3K, V12 amp nasa 2K, wiring nasa 1000, Labor 500 cguro pwede na... ...

engine most definitely overhaul na yan. sabay mo na yung calibration. prep maybe 40k.

suspension madali lang sa cruven or zee... maybe 15k and all your troubles go away

paint... 35k

aircon... most likely palit compressor and condenser... 15k

other concerns... gear oils, clutch, etc... prep maybe 25k

maganda sabihin na you should prep 100-150k. medyo mahal, but after everything, you will be left with a tough, reliable machine that will last another two decades before you restore again.
