thanks. no wonder sira yung last 2 rv meters ko. on both occasions, the reading goes blank even without the low fuel warning. then the figures for average speed and FC also freezes

this was a symptom of a busted rv meter

Good Day,

Just would like to ask to those MS owners that installed a headrest monitor kung DVD lng talaga ang pwede idisplay nung monitors? The winterpine personnel tested the unit with a movie saved in a USB and an ipod movie ayaw magdisplay sa monitor, naka color blue lng sya. Called their main branch sa aurora blvd/service dept. ganun daw talaga AVT head unit, DVD lng daw pwede ilabas sa ibang monitor. Nagbabalak panu ko papalitan yung headrest monitor ng ibang accessories n lng kaso bakit naman itetest nung taga winterpine araneta USB n ipod nya kng d pwede? Inquired also about the TV tuner, wala pa daw rinerelease ang AVT, meron na po bng nakapagpainstall ng TV tuner sa AVT headunit?

Sir clarify ko lang, nung sinubukan yung movie thru usb nagplay ba yung avt natin? Headrest monitors lang ang ayaw magwork? Or parehong blank?

Yup, nagplay sa HU ng AVT yng USB movie kaso wala output sa Headrest, yung ipod video ayaw magplay both sa HU and headrest although may naririnig kang audio

Ganun ba sir, hirap din pala magpalagay ng headrest monitors. Pero tingin ko hindi dapat sa video out ang maging connection niyan, kelangan dun magtap sa video line going to the avt's lcd, in that case lahat ng makikita mo sa lcd display mo, yun din mismo yung nasa headrest mOnitors, even gps, tpms, reverse etc kasi naka-tap siya sa line na nagfefeed sa main lcd ng avt. Trabahuhin nga natin yan

Had also confirmed this with AVT. Hindi talaga nalabas sa headrest monitors yun movies played sa USB. But movies sa disc and sa iTouch/iPhone/iPad pwede naman. Raised this complaint pero wala pa din advise sila. Sa TV naman, any TV module can work but the problem is sa inout cable. Wala nilalabas na cable AVT for this pa...

napapaisip na ako magpalit ng HU kasi ayoko talaga ng AVT kaya lang ay wala akong makitang suitable na pampalit. nakakatuwa kasi ang GPS ng stock na AVT. and i'm still looking for that technician who was able to intergrate the pioneer remote in the montero's stock steering wheel remote. OTOH, matagal na bumigay ang steering wheel remote ko and sumasablay na ang A2DP (bluetooth) ng AVT when connecting with the ipad. namimili na din siya ng DVD ngayon.

btw, from experience, all our locally purchased japanese vehicles had really crappy HU's. ayoko ng HU ng innova/fortuner. ang sa montero, ayoko din pero at least nakakatuwa na madaming features (like the gps).

btw, may ma-suggest ba kayong pioneer or alpine HU na single-DIN na may A2DP, RCA-in and remote control? plano ko kasi ay papuntahin ang output ng AVT sa HU na may RCA-in para magamit ko pa din ang touch screen monitor ng AVT. plano ko ilagay ang "main" HU sa ilalim ng stock HU sana.

features and sound wise, okay naman sa akin ang stock AVT HU. i love the TPMS feature also

its just that crappy RV meter

if they can solve this, then it would be great

otherwise, its a blemish on an otherwise nice HU, with GPS, TPMS and all
