But there is another thing I want to check from you mga gurus, is it normal na hindi sabay ang pag unfold and fold ng side mirrors? The mirror from the passenger side is faster in unfolding and folding. Ang sabi sakin sa casa, normal daw un, just want to confirm it from you guys, thank you!

Regarding the steering remote control, it does happen to my unit also. Minsan perfoming well, minsan may sumpong! I just turn off the engine and re-start and it will function again.

About the side mirrors, hindi kaya may masira sa mechanism pag manually i-fold? What I usually do is press the button to fold it, turn off the engine, push the button again, so when you re start it will unfold for you na. Notice that the side view mirror in the passenger side is angled more than the driver's side for better side visibility; thus, once you retract the side mirrors, the passenger side appears to retract faster.

mine folds at almost same time that you can't even notice any delay on the other..I believe the side mirror frames/cover are angled the same. It is the mirror/glass itself has different angles thus the purpose of the mirror adjustment button...

I don't know prince but the angular disparity of the two side mirror frames/covers was the first thing i noticed within the first 2 weeks since i bought my monty in 2009. I even looked at the other units to see if it was normal, and it was.

Regarding steering wheel remote... Went to 41 to have my GPS updated. Fortunately, the supervisor was there and he asked me about if I encountered a remote malfunction... I said it happened once.

He said grounded yung unit and insisted they will change something. Though tolerable naman yung pag reset (thanks to this thread I learned battery wasn't the problem) once in a while I said yes narin.

They were still studying kung saan madalas nangyayari yung malfunction though owners often say malapit daw sa mga transmission towers daw like abscbn. So there... I pass that area once in a while wala na naman problem.

there was a post here that the monty's remote is RF and not wired thus there is a possibility that your remote could actually control a nearby monty's system if it is on the same frequency

again, i have not tried it

di bale, on the next MSCP club meet, ma testing nga ito

if ever this is true, i must be wreaking havoc on the monty's beside me in traffic as i have this habit of switching stations and or folders on my usb, hehehehe
